Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh partciaptes in the Saint Maroun special festivities in Syria
Marada News: On the occasion of the 1600th Anniversary of the passing of St Maroun, El Marada leader MP Sleiman Frangieh arrived in Aleppo to participate in the celebrations organized at the original birthplace of St. Maroun. Change and Reform bloc leader General Michel Aoun and former Lebanese president Emil Lahoud also participated in the ceremony.

MP Salim Karam: Christians need assurances before they endorse amendments such as the abolishment of political sectarianism
Marada News: Free and United Lebanon bloc MP Salim Karam said that Speaker Nabih Berri has rushed his proposal to abolish political sectarianism and this may destabilize political stances in Lebanon. In a television interview with MTV, Karam cautioned that Lebanese Christians have certain fears as evident by their high immigration figures, stressing that they need assurances before they could endorse drastic amendments such as the abolishment of political sectarianism.

Marada News: Following talks with Free Patriotic Movement leader General Michel Aoun in Rabiyeh, Marada Movement Leader Sleiman Frangieh denied that there is disagreement within the opposition on the issue of appointments, saying there are only different points of view while he termed the presence of Palestinian arms in Lebanon a clear violation to Lebanon's sovereignty.
